Vandals blamed for woodland fire

VANDALS are being blamed for a fire in woodland at Winwick, Warrington, last night.
A fire engine from Stocvkrton Heath went to the scene, between Delph Farm and Sheridan Place, and extinguished the blaze.
But they discovered the fire had been started deliberately and appealed for help from the public.
Anyone who knows who started the fire, or has any information at all, is asked to call police on 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers hotline on 0800 555 111.
