BODYCOMBAT and BodyPump classes are set to relaunch at LiveWire sites across Warrington in the New Year year as the leisure provider brings back the popular Les Mills programme.
After a short break away, the New Zealand-based group exercise provider will be back at LiveWire due to popular demand and Warrington residents will be able to join the five million people worldwide who attend Les Mills classes every week.
From Monday January 16, both classes will run across a selection of days at various LiveWire leisure sites.
BodyCombat is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. It can be used to develop co-ordination and release stress.
The whole body workout targets every muscle group using moves from karate, taekwondo, boxing, muay Thai, capoeira and Kung Fu. No experience is needed and up to 740 calories can be burnt in one class.
BodyPump is perfect for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. The workout uses light to moderate weights with lots of repetition to help shape and tone the entire body.
With up to 540 calories burnt in each class, instructors will coach through scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music.
To celebrate the classes returning to LiveWire, a launch event will be held at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub on Saturday January 14.
Les Mills regional master trainer, Aaron Davison will be flying in from Northern Ireland to deliver two masterclass sessions. One of the masterclasses will coincide with the world launch of Les Mills’ latest programme, BodyPump 100.
The masterclass sessions are free to attend but places must be booked in advance via the Eventbrite page https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/les-mills-launch-bodypump-and-bodycombat-masterclasses-tickets-30220255598
As part of the relaunch, LiveWire will also make Les Mills On Demand available for members and non-members to subscribe to for the first time.
The on-the-go programme allows users to complete more than 100 workouts at home which can be accessed anytime and anywhere via a mobile device to complement their regular gym activity.
