TWO incidents of arson are being investigated by police at Warrington today.
Both occurred last night – and three fire engines were involved in dealing with them.
Firefighters from Warrington and Stockton Heath were sent to Longshaw Street, Warrington, when fire was discovered in a brick-built outhouse. A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
The second incident was in Viscount Road, Padgate when a wheelie bin was set alight. A fire crew from Warrington was involved in tackling the blaze using a hose reel jet.
Anyone with information about either incident is asked to call police on 101 or, anonymously, the Crimestoppers hotline on 0800 555 111.
