Time and time again the police issue this warning and the accompanying picture of a pole through the letterbox hooking keys. WHY DON’T PEOPLE LISTEN TO THEM AND STOP LEAVING THEIR KEYS IN VIEW AND EASY REACH !!
For goodness sake it’s not hard to just put your keys somewhere safer. They will probably find their insurance company refuses to pay up too if they [the car owners] have been stupid enough to pretty much give they car away like this.
Wait for the reports of cars being stolen when their owners have left them running to warm upin cold weather whilst the drivers finish off their breakfasts or morning chores.
yep….sometimes I think the police are fighting a loosing battle despite their warnings š
Think you need to calm down. The reason the keys were left were they was was because my fiancĆ© is a fireman so when he has to run out early hours of the morning saving people when there houses are on fire or worse fatal car crashes you wouldn’t be opening your mouth then. All the other cars stolen in the area have had their houses physical broken into I know what I would prefer to keep my family safe !!! We have publicised this to make people aware. …
