POLICE and firefighters were called to Bewsey, Warrington, last night after arsonists struck.
Their target was a wheelie bin in Gerrard Avenue, but the outcome could have been more serious. Fire crews used a hose reel jet to damp down the debris and called in the police.
Anyone with any information about the incident is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
