Estate car damaged by fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called to Jackson Avenue, Culcheth this morning when fire broke out involving an estate car.
The crew from Birchwood Fire Station used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze shortly after 9am.
They also damped the area down to prevent further problems.
Cause of the fire has not been revealed.
Earlier, a fire crew from Stockton Heath tackled a chimney fire at a property in Massey Brook Lane, Lymm.
The blaze involved insulation around the chimney breast.
