A man has been arrested by police after assaulting a shop assistant at Orford, Warrington.
The male is currently in custody after also damaging a till and other items in the shop during the incident.
In another incident earlier today a male was arrested in Palmyra Square after ignoring a previous dispersal order after causing a nuisance in the Old Market Place at Golden Square.
