Police discover 400 stolen items at woman’s home

POLICE who arrested a female shoplifter at Warrington’s TK Maxx store later discovered more than 400 other items believed to have been stolen, during a search of her home.

The woman was arrested at thr TK Maxx in the town centre for an allegation of theft – at 18:10 hours last night.

A search of her home address under Section 18 of the Police & Criminal Evidence Act is alleged to have discovered in excess of 400 items that are also suspected to be stolen – she remains in police custody whilst this matter is investigated thoroughly
