Three arrested in possession of burglary tools

THREE men were arrested near Warrington during the night on suspicion of going equipped for theft.
The men were in a van, stopped by police on the Daresbury Expressway, and were found to be in possession of a number of items including bolt cutters and gloves.
Earlier, two women were arrested in the town centre on suspicion of stealing from Top Shop.
Staff reported suspicious behaviour in the store and the two women were apprehended and found to be in possession of clothing believed to be stolen from more than one store.
Police have praisede Top Shop staff for the vigilance.
