Police warning following burglaries

POLICE are warning residents to be extra vigilant following three burglaries in South Warrington over night.

Two burglaries took place in Walton, one involved a vehicle being taken. The other was at Appleton, where a vehicle was also taken.

Police are warning residents to ensure their homes are secured and to report any suspicious activity by calling 101.

  1. Could the police not give more of an idea where in Walton or Appleton these incidents took place as Walton and Appleton cover quite large areas areas.
    I know it doesn’t really make much difference and I don’t mean for them to give the actual address but surely giving the road name or a little more of a hint where it was near could help with enquiries as someone may have seen something or someone as they were driving the area but may not put two and two together…also it would be of benefit to nearby residents too who could be reading and not realise it’s happened right on their doorstep.
    Anyway all that said….I hope the police catch the scum and the victims belongings and cars are recovered.
