Warrington Police kept busy by drink related and violent crimes

WARRINGTON police were kept busy last night and during the early hours of today with a number of drink related and violent crimes.

A male was arrested in the Orford area at 21.35 following an allegation of assault and threatening behaviour – this was alleged to be part of a neighbour dispute.

Then at 00:25 a male was arrested on Victoria Ave after the manner of his driving resulted in a roadside breath test – failed.

At 0045 a female was arrested for an allegation of Racially Aggravated Public Order against bar staff at a bar in the Grappenhall area.

Then at 0150 a male was arrested on Chester Road for an alleged failed breath test.

A female was arrested for an alleged Drunk & Disorderly on Bridge Street in the Town Centre at 02.15.

Then at 0251 a male was arrested for an alleged breach of a Dispersal Notice which had been issued to him earlier. It is alleged that some time after the issue he was still trying to get into bars in the town.

At 0315 police popped over the border into Partington to arrest a pair of males for an alleged incident in Lymm Village – the allegations ranging from Threatening Behaviour to Assault.

At 0330 a report of three males fighting in the Town Centre resulted in two being arrested for an allegation of Affray.

Then at 0340 a male was arrested for an alleged domestic assault in the Great Sankey area.

At 0450 a male was arrested for an allegation of Threatening Behaviour in the Appleton area and finally at 0600 a male was arrested in the Latchford area in order to prevent a Breach of the Peace following a domestic incident.
