Post box fire

FIREFIGHTERS from Warrington were called out to deal with a post box on fire last night.

The fire involved a post box on Park Road, where a quantity of mail was damaged by the fire which was started deliberately at 21.50 pm.

Earlir int eh day firefighters dealt with an overheated car on Bath Street, Warrington, which was giving off smoke from the engine. The battery was disconnected and water used to cool the engine.
