Men arrested for theft in town centre

TWO men suspected of theft were arrested in separate incidents in Warrington town centre this morning.
One displayed “extreme” behaviour on arrest and it was necessary to send a police van equipped with a cage to take him into custody, according to police.
He was arrested at Asda in the town centre but was also wanted in connection with an allegation of theft from Boots, Warrington.
Half-an-hour later, at the same Asda, another man was arrested on an allegation of theft and also because he was wanted for a recall to prison.
