ARSONISTS are believed responsible for a fire which threatened property at Warrington.
The blaze involved a quantity of refuse against the rear wall of a property in Clegge Street and fire crews from Warrington and Stockton Heath use a hose reel jet to bring it under control.
They removed the facia from an extension to the property to check the fire had not spread.
Police were asked to attend the incident as arson was suspected.
Anyone with information about the blaze is asked to call police on 101 or the Crimestoppers confidential hotline on 0800 555 111.
