THE first-ever Thelwall Beer Festival takes place today, Saturday, in the Village Hall.
The doors open at 6pm and there will be a wide selection of beers, wines and ciders, as well as a Prosecco bar.
Food will be available and there will be music from the Noel Fraser Band.
The event will raise money for local charities, a senior citizen’s Christmas lunch and a Christmas pantomime in the Village Hall, running up to Christmas.
