LATCHFORD Albion bowed out of the NWML Division one play offs following a heavy 0-44 defeat against an impressive Folly Lane side.

A crowd of over 200 attended, however a mistake in the opening set allowed the visitors field position in the hosts 22 which they took full advantage of to cross within the first minute of the game.

A second handling error shortly after allowed Folly the territory which they again used to open a 12 0 lead within the opening five minutes.

The visitors played with speed and confidence which Latchford could not contain and at half time Albion were trailing 0 – 28.

Any hopes of a comeback were soon extinguished with an early Folly Lane try and despite an improved second half display the visitors scored two further tries to compound a miserable day for Latchford.
