Say hello to the future at Warrington Collegiate’s Open Day

Warrington Collegiate will be showcasing its wide range of vocational courses and apprenticeships next week when it opens its doors to future students and their families.

Visitors to the highly anticipated Open Evening will be able to find out more about the exciting opportunities available at the College, speak to our tutors and tour the fantastic facilities.

The fun-filled event, which runs from 5pm to 8pm on Tuesday 11th October, will also give future students and their friends and family the opportunity to join in with a range of activities including doughnut making with Hospitality & Catering, tyre checks with Motor Vehicle, pyramid building in Brickwork, a “flight” to a distant land with Aviation students and copper bending with Plumbing.

For those looking for a relaxing way to take in the Winwick Road campus, beauty treatments including hand and arm massages will be available at The Academy.

Health and Social Care will be giving free health checks while Childcare will have paint and playdoh activity tables.

Performing Arts are sure to put on a fantastic show for visitors, while experiments in our new state-of-the-art Science lab are sure to catch a few eyes.

Activities will be taking place right across the College campus, with curriculum areas running a series of events including quizzes and hands-on activities.

The College’s Apprenticeships team and Higher Education teams will also be on hand to offer advice and guidance.
