Pigeon loft damaged by fire

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze involving a pigeon loft at Warrington last night.
The blaze was at a house in Wilmslow Crescent, Thelwall and a crew from Stockton Heath, two wearing breathing apparatus, tackled the flames with two hose reel jets.
They then damped down the surrounding area.
The pigeon loft measured about eight metres by four metres.
Firefighters managed to prevent the fire spreading to the house. The fire is believed to have been started accidentally.
There are no reports of harm to any pigeons.
