The popular one mile race started and finished at the Halliwell Jones stadium, home to the Warrington Wolves, for the first time.
Runners included families, couples, young children and elderly people and some participants even completed the course in prams or wheelchairs.
Entrants had the chance to take part in a fun warm up session before taking on the one mile circuit and they received a t-shirt and a medal for taking part.
LiveWire were encouraging people to raise sponsorship money for Warrington Disability Partnership who are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year.
The race was part of this year’s Warrington Festival and runners had the chance to watch a children’s rugby tournament at the stadium following their sprint.
The three week-long festival, which celebrates sport, culture and entertainment came to a close weekend also featuring two Go Tri triathlon events at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub as well as the LiveWire Mile.
