WARRINGTON residents invited to take up a pedometer challenge and learn more about their local health services
Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (Bridgewater) is inviting people in the borough to attend its Annual General Meeting at 4pm on Thursday September 29 at The Select Stadium in Widnes.
The event will provide the opportunity to learn more about the Trust, which provides 40 NHS community health services in Warrington such as District Nursing, Health Visiting, Podiatry, Physiotherapy and Community Dental.
There will be a chance for everyone who attends to take part in a fun pedometer challenge with the winner receiving a Marks and Spencer gift voucher. There will also be a free yoga taster session.
Bridgewater chairman Harry Holden (pictured) said:  “Members of the public who attend can also speak to some of our frontline staff who continually show tremendous dedication in meeting the healthcare needs of the local
communities we serve.”
The AGM will incorporate Bridgewater’s Annual Members’ Meeting and will include an update on the main developments during the past year plus the Trust’s future plans, its Annual Report and Quality Account.
Refreshments will be available on arrival. The address for the Annual General Meeting is The Halton Suite, Select Stadium, Lower House Lane, Widnes, WA8 7DZ.
Anyone wishing to attend should email [email protected] or call 01942 482655 by 21 September.
