A NURSE was assaulted at Warrington Hospital early today.
Later, a 52-year-old man was arrested for the alleged offence.
A police spokesperson said: “This not acceptable behaviour.”

Doubtless this individual will receive more “understanding” from the courts – if he gets there – than did the Nurse from his professional body, when he reacted to a similar stressful situation caused by another visitor to A & E whose behaviour was also unacceptable.
