Institution Bar, Wasabi Teppanyaki restaurant, Accountancy firm Walker Begley Ltd, design and development agency Carpe Diem, ABC Top Mixer Hire Ltd., utilities company BGS Ltd and photography company, Oculus Studios Ltd.

Cllr Rashid launched the Circle to bring businesses together to support and promote each other, creating unique business opportunities and producing an economically strong and more socially active business community.

He said: “I’m delighted to welcome on-board the newest members of The Circle. This initiative continues to go from strength to strength, and to see its membership grow to 12 in such a short space of time is absolutely fantastic.

“I’ve been really encouraged by the enthusiasm the business community has shown for this initiative. It demonstrates that there’s a real will among local companies to support each other, network, share opportunities and help each other thrive.”

The Mayor is hosting a special Circle meeting on Tuesday September 27 at the Town Hall, giving all the members the opportunity to hold discussions and exchange ideas about the future development of the initiative.

Local businesses are invited to apply for Circle Membership by donating to the Mayor’s charities.
