Traffic lights damaged in two-vehicle crash

TWO vehicles were involved in a crash at Warrington – also demolishing a traffic light standard and a bollard.
The crash was in Chester Road, Daresbury and involved a mini-bus – which collided with the traffic light and bollard – and a light goods vehicle.
Paramedics assessed the mini-bus driver who was assisted from his damaged vehicle by firefighters and then taken to hospital by ambulance.
He is not thought to be seriously injured.
Fire and rescue crews from Warrington and Runcorn cleared debris and made the scene safe.
