Albion skipper heads for Canada

LATCHFORD Albion open age captain Ryan Hickman is to fly out this week as part of the England Lionhearts Rugby League tour to Canada.
Ryan, who has been with Albion since the age of six and has progressed through the junior ranks, is on his second tour having last year toured Serbia alongside club colleague Danny Brown.
The tour party flies out on Sunday, with a tough schedule including two games against Ontario state and culminating in a final test against the national side The Canada Wolverines.
Albion head coach Lee Smith said: “We are so pleased and proud for Ryan. His commitment and dedication have been exceptional, having secured international honours last year, the challenge was to improve and continue pushing himself and his selection is justification for all the hard work he puts in both on and off the field.”
