No Brainer up for north west award

AWARD-winning PR and communications agency No Brainer is celebrating its first year in business with a place on the short list of this year’s Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) North West PRide Awards.

The 2016 New Business of the Year at the Warrington Business Awards, which is based at Victoria Park, is up for the “Outstanding Small Public Relations Consultancy” award alongside five other agencies.

Founded just 12 months ago by Gary Jenkins and Lee Cullen, the agency has picked up a number of high-profile client wins.

Gary said: “It has been a rollercoaster of a year for our young business, with plenty of long hours and late nights.

“But to be in the running for this award – especially as we’re up against other agencies that have been established for several years – really makes all those hours worthwhile.

“The CIPR awards represent the gold standard in our industry so we’re over the moon to make the shortlist,” added fellow director and co-founder Lee Cullen.

“We’ve achieved a lot in a very short time frame but we’ve only just started out on our journey.

“Our first year has been hard work but a lot of fun too and we’re looking forward to building on our success in the months and years that lie ahead.”

The awards take place on Thursday November 3 at The Midland Hotel in Manchester.
