A WARRINGTON-based brand communications agency has been ranked second in a prestigious census of the best independent marketing agencies from across the UK.
Bugler Smith, of Lymm, has claimed the  this year’s number two spot on The Drum’s Elite Independent Agencies Census for agencies with 1-25 staff – a comprehensive research report which measures agencies’ financial performance, along with client feedback and satisfaction.
Lee Ashton, Bugler Smith’s managing director, said: “This is an outstanding achievement for our agency and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the result.
“To be ranked second in the top 100, out of the hundreds of agencies that were eligible to be included in the census, is an amazing accolade, especially for such a small agency like ours.
“Over the past year we have grown significantly as an agency; hiring more talented members of staff, winning briefs and new clients, and breaking the £1m turnover barrier for the first time.
“This new achievement just goes to show that our recent performance growth and hard work is being recognised by the professional marketing community.”
The agency offers a fully-integrated approach to briefs with advertising, internal communications, events, digital, video and TV, PR and social all included on its list of services.
Mr Ashton asked: “The fact that the agencies on this census are ranked through client satisfaction, as well as financials, makes the number two win particularly special, because it means all the work we are creating for our clients is hitting all the right objectives.
“I am very proud of my entire team; this is a joint effort and has been attained through the constant commitment, creativity and dedication of everyone.
“We may be small, but we are a very ambitious agency and this recent achievement has inspired us even more to continue making the best content and providing the best service we can.”
