REGISTRATION is now open for this year’s LiveWire Mile which will again this year form part of the activity programme for Warrington Festival.
The popular one mile race will return to the town on Sunday October 2 and will start and finish at the Halliwell Jones stadium, home to the Warrington Wolves, for the first time.
The LiveWire mile, which is now in its fourth year, encourages families and individuals to get active whilst raising money for charity.
Participants can run, walk, skip, hop or jump around the route to complete the race and will receive a t-shirt and medal for taking part.
This year, funds raised by participants will be donated to Warrington Disability Partnership, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
The race will begin at 11am and entrants will have the chance to take part in a fun warm up session that gets the blood pumping before taking on the one mile circuit.
