THE Friends of St Elphin’s Park are holding a Summer Fair at the Park on Sunday 14 August when the whole community is invited along to join in the fun.

The event follows on from the fantastic news recently of the Park on Manchester Road, being one of 12 green spaces in Warrington scooping the prestigious Green Flag awards.

Fairfield and Howley Councillor Jean Flaherty said; “At the fair we will have Punch and Judy, a ride on steam train, zorbing, games and activities, as well as a number of craft stalls. Blooming Art will also be working with guests to create a decorative wall hanging for The Pavilion Tea Rooms.”
