Nightclubber arrested with two knives and controlled drugs

POLICE made numerous arrests in Warrington town centre during the night – including one man who had two knives and controlled drugs in a nightclub.

After arresting the male for possessing one knife a search later revealed another knife and Class A controlled drugs concealed in his underpants.

Other arrests included breach of a notice to leave the town centre, two alleged assaults and possession of a Class A controlled drug.

Police have also arrested a male in the Poplars Avenue area after he phoned police stating he was drunk and wanted to fight someone.

Police attended at the scene and tried to help the man but he allegedly forced the issue and found himself under arrest for police assault.

  1. They should be locked up and when released banned from entering Warrington town centre and all the pubs/clubs every again.
    As for the one with the knives that’s shocking…..shame the one hidden in his underpants didn’t slice his ‘bits’ off !
