Police probe attempted arson attack

POLICE are investigating an attempted arson attack at Warrington last night.
The blaze involved two wheelie bins in Plumtree Avenue, Bewsey shortly after 10pm.
Fire crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
No damage was caused to nearby houses but it is believed the fire was a deliberate attempt at arson.
