Shredding machine sparks blaze at works

FIRE crews from Warrington were called to works premises  on the Barleycastle trading estate, at Appleton Thorn this morning when fire broke out at a works premises.
The blaze, in Lyncastle Way, was in a shredding machine in use at the premises.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish several seats of fire.  The cause is still being investigated.
Two fire engines were involved in the operation
