Firefighters tackle blaze started by a barbecue

A DISPOSABLE barbecue, discarded in a wheelie bin, is believed to have started a fire at Locking Stumps, Warrington.
The black bin was found on the driveway of a house in Eccleston Close when firefighters arrived on the scene.
Crews from Birchwood tackled the blaze with a hosereel jet.
In another incident, firefighters from Stockton Heath tackled a blaze involving a 20 metres square area of grassland at Dale Lane, Appleton.
Crews used water backpacks to extingish the fire.
