“A blonde named Tristan stole my bike”

POLICE are searching for a blonde haired youth who claimed his name was Tristan – and then pushed another youth off his bike and stole it.
The incident took place in Old Liverpool Road at 2.30pm yesterday (Sunday).
A 15-year-old boy was riding his bike in Old Liverpool road when he was approached by a youth, aged about 16, who said his name was Tristan and then pushed him off the bike.
The offender rode off on the machine, a B Twin mountain bike, towards the underpass near to Sankey Green island.
The bike, which is black, has a bent right brake and is pictured.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the bike, or has any information about the incident, is asked to call police on 101 quoting the reference 564 on July 10.
