Busy night as police deal with 98 incidents in Warrington town centre

POLICE had a busy night in Warrington town centre dealing with a total of 98 incidents between 6pm and 7am!

These included two men being arrested for assault, two men being arrested for being drunk & disorderly, a man arrested for theft and a man and woman being arrested for Public Order offences.

Four men were also issued with dispersal notices not to return to the town centre for 24 hours.

Meanwhile a male has been arrested in Penketh this morning following a incident which involved an officer being kicked in the face. Fortunately no injuries were received.

In another incident a male has been arrested at Latchford this morning for using threatening behaviour during a domestic incident.

  1. Culture Warrington! Not exactly the town for a family evening out. All the money due to be spent on regeneration will just be money wasted unless they close the ‘yob’ bars down.
