Police in hunt for knife man

POLICE at Warrington today appealed for information from the public following an incident when a man was robbed at knifepoint.
The robbery took place in a park off Capesthorne Road at aboiut 6.25pm yesterday (Sunday).
The offender approached the man as he walked along a footpath, asked him the time and then blocked his path and demanded he empty his pockets.
He was brandishing a black knife.
The terrified victim handed over a blue canvas wallet containing cash, an Armarni wrist watch and a pink iPhone 5C. The offender walked  off down an alleyway in an unknown direction.
He was around 5”6 to 5”7 in height, of a skinny build and aged in his late 20s to early 30s. He had black or dark brown hair that was shaved all over to a number one cut, clean shaven with a slight tanned complexion. His eyes were brown with bags underneath and he had a long thin nose, with black and brown teeth.
He was wearing a black tracksuit top with the hood pulled up, black tracksuit bottoms with two or three stripes down the leg and possibly black trainers.
Anyone who can identify the offender is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 777 of 3 July.
