IT’S a big weekend at Stockton Heath – the ninth annual Stockton Heath Festival.
Events get under way on Thursday – the start of a packed weekend of events to suit all ages. Tickets are on sale for many events and there are also plenty of free activities on the Festival field on Saturday and Sunday.
A popular events is always the scarecrow competition and this year it is based on an Alice in Wonderland theme.
Scarecrows have been on show around the village for some time and they will be making their way to the Festival field on Friday ready for judging by the public over the weekend.
The Grand Festival Draw has many good prizes kindly donated by local traders and businesses.
A art exhibition starts on Thursday at St Thomas’ church and on Sunday there will be an opportunity to visit the church tower to view the new bells.
All activities and events are detailed on the website www.stocktonheathfestival.co.uk
