A MAN was treated for the effects of smoke in the early hours of this morning after fire crews from Warrington were called to reports of a house fire.
Two fire engines were called to Quebec Road where a house was heavily smokelogged.
Crews could find no sign of fire and the smoke had been caused by unattended cooking.
Firefighters treated the man who had suffered from smoke inhalation.
The incident was shortly before 1am
