Man robbed outside his own home

A MAN was robbed of his wallet outside his own home at Warrington.
Police today appealed for the public’s help following the incident at about 2am on Monday, May 30.
The 52-year-old victim was leaving his house in  Watkin Street, Longford, when he was approached by two men.
When he refused to let them into his house, he was pushed backwards and robbed of his wallet.
The offenders then left the scene on bicycles.
As a result of the incident, the victim suffered minor injuries to his face and stomach.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information about it is asked to contact Cheshire Police quoting incident number 85 of May 30.
