POLICE stopped a total of 29 motorists for speeding offences in Warrington today – including one doing 70mph in a 40 mph zone.
The offenders are being dealt with in a variety of ways.
Meanwhile across the county a total of 37 Drink Drivers and 17 Drug Drivers have been arrested in the first week of Cheshire Police’s #OpRoadster campaign aimed at clamping down on motorists driving under the influence of drink and/or drugs.
