THREE people have been arrested in relation to possessing a large quantity of drugs after police issued a search warrant at a property in High Legh near Lymm.

The warrant was conducted at an address on Rensherds Place, High Legh, last Thursday (June 9) as a result of information received from a member of the public, who reported suspicious behaviour at the property.

During a search of the property police recovered a large quantity of Cannabis and a quantity of Class A drugs, believed to be Cocaine. In addition officers also seized five mobile phones and over £2000 in cash.

Two men and woman were arrested in relation to the incident; they have all been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.

Sergeant Kelly Rooke said: “This was a great result which has led to a significant quantity of drugs being removed from the local area.

“We know that illegal drugs have a detrimental impact on the local community and it is an issue that we are committed to tackling.

“Information from the public is vital and I urge anyone who has any information about drugs activity in their local community to contact us on 101.”
