Crime commissioner will seek town’s views

NEW Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner David Keane will be in Warrington on June 30 – seeking the views of the public on policing across the county.

Launching a six week consultation on his police and crime plan today, Mr Keane said: “My first priority is to listen to the views of the public in Cheshire, to ensure that my Police and Crime Plan reflects the policing priorities of our diverse communities.”
He will be holding a number events across the county to get views before he working up his plan for the next four years.
In Warrington, he will have a stand in Bridge Street between 9am-11am on June 30.
But members of the public can also fill in a short online survey by following the link on the Police and Crime Commissioner’s website CLICK HERE
Mr Keane said: “I want to get to the heart of what matters to our communities, listen to your views and make sure you are part of the conversation about policing and crime.
“Your thoughts and ideas are crucial in helping me build on my vision of policing over the next four years.
“I’m really looking forward to meeting you and getting stuck into making a difference to policing in our communities. Please take the time to tell me what you think and join the conversation.”
