POLICE are investigating a “large scale disorder” as rival fans clashed outside the ground following Warrington Wolves 12-19 defeat to Hull FC at the Halliwell Jones stadium last night.

Fighting broke out as Hull fans, celebrating their victory, left the ground to board coaches parked outside.

Numerous police patrols were called to break up the disorder at the Dallam Lane end of the ground and made three arrests.

One Hull FC supporter is believed to have been badly injured.

The incident sparked outrage on social media.
