LYMM’S Cherry Tree Out of School Club has been assessed as an “outstanding” provider of childcare – for the second time.
Following a visit earlier this year, Ofsted inspectors said: “The managers are passionate about providing the best possible provision for children and lead an extremely enthusiastic and dedicated team of staff.
“Children succeed in this high quality club. Their emotional well-being is exceptionally well supported and staff are calm, kind, caring and sensitive in supporting their individual needs. Children have a clear sense of belonging.
“Children flourish in the warm, welcoming, safe environment and they play
exceptionally well together. Children enjoy exceptionally positive relationships with each other and respect each other’s differences. ”
The school opened its doors in 1996 with places for 20 children.
Now there are places for up to 40 children each day.
Managers Sue Bolger and Yvonne Hopewell said: “we are delighted with this outcome. Staff and children alike are very proud of our Out of School Club”
