LITTLE Elyse Livesey from Warrington is officially the town’s “Cutest Cherub.”
Elyse won the 6 – 18 months category and the overall top prize in the competition organised by Oculus Studios on Warrington Market, after gaining the most votes.
Winner of the 0-6 months was Braydon Thompson from Padgate while Millie Walker from Great Sankey won the 18 months – 3 years category.
All three won £250.00 with Elyse winning an additional prize of £500.
The competition was sponsored by Fidelis Food Service Equipment Ltd, Warrington Wolves and Ideal Unified Communications, while Jenny’s Designs donated a portrait for each category winner.
The competition raised just over £100 for chosen charity Warrington Disability Partnership.
Organiser Tony Longmore from Oculus Studios hailed the event a huge success and is already planning next year’s which he says will be “bigger and better.”
It attracted more than 1,200 voters into the market.
One trader, Carol from “Crafted With Love” said that during the competition, th her stall saw a marked increase in sales.
She continued “I estimate that during the baby competition, our sales doubled.”
