New striker will pack a punch for Warrington Town!

FRESH from their league title success Warrington Town have announced their first major signing for the forthcoming season – former Halifax and Chorley striker James Dean.

The thirty-year-old 6’3 centre forward and former kick boxing champion has Signed from Chorley, where he scored nearly 60 goals in 130 Appearances.

Previous clubs include Bury, Altrincham, Stalybridge Celtic, Harrogate Town, and AFC Fylde.

The big fast powerful striker also starred at AFC Halifax playing a pivotal role in their rise up the leagues.

Manager Stuart Mellish said: “I’ve long been an admirer of James and jumped at the chance when the opportunity arose to be able to speak to him. It shows the direction the club is going and the players it can attract.”

Chairman Toby Macormac added:” James is a very experienced player and his knowledge and ability will make us even stronger up top. He spoke very highly of  the club and is looking forward to taking us all the way this coming season.”
