Warrington Parkrun is fun for all

VIDEO: THE weekly Warrington Parkrun is proving to be extremely popular attracting between 300-400 runners of all shapes, sizes and abilities.

warrington-worldwide’s roving cameraman Paul Jackson caught up with event director Tony Carroll (see above).

The event takes place every Saturday morning at Victoria Park, Warrington and is a 5km run -against the clock.

It is free to enter but please register before your first run. Only ever register with parkrun once. Don’t forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode (request a reminder). If you forget it, you won’t get a time.

The event is for enjoyment and open to anyone, included four legged friends, whatever your pace!

The town’s current Mayor Geoff Settle, who used to take part, is now a marshall due to a knee injury.
