LYMM-based PGA professional golfer Graham Cox has been handed a boost by the news Thomas & Thomas Kitchens are to continue their sponsorship for 2016.

Cox had multiple wins last year including Cheshire & North Wales Match Play champion, MDGA match play champion, 4 wins on the 1836 tour, and 6 PGA pro- am wins is looking set to continue his upward trend for success.

A resident coach at Lymm Golf Club, Cox started playing at 10 and has been a golf pro for 15 years playing in the PGA north region.

His main aim this season is to get to play on the European Tour. He currently competes in pro-am and on the 1836 golf tour.

He said: “Howard Marshall and Robert Entwistle from Thomas & Thomas Kitchens have been hugely supportive of my competitive career and have been great sponsors.

“Staying competitive isn’t easy on the wallet and I speak for all golfers when I say it’s sponsorship like this which helps to keep us out on the green and not in the red!”

Howard Marshall, Operations Director for the bespoke kitchen company and himself a keen golfer met Graham at Davenport Golf Club.

He added: “I love my golf, playing and watching, and it has been great to watch Graham’s progress and be able to see him going from strength to strength.

“We wish him the best of luck in his aim to take part in the European Tour this year.”

Graham has set himself a ‘Birdy’ charity challenge which will be on the 26th June at Lymm Golf Club. More details will be announced soon.
