House fire victim treated for smoke inhalation

ONE person was treated for smoke inhalation after a house fire at Bewsey, Warrington last night.
The blaze was at a house in Grafton Street and three fire engines – from Warrington, Penketh and Stockton Heath – were sent to the scene.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze using a hose reel jet and a ventilation unit was used to clear smoke from the property.
Police and ambulance personnel attended the incident and one casualty was treated for the effects of smoke.
Cause of the outbreak was not revealed.
