Kitchen badly damaged by fire

FIRE caused extensive damage in the kitchen of a house at Warrington.
Two fire engines were sent to deal with the incident at a house in Farrell Street at 10.20pm last night.
A plastic recycling tub had been placed on top of a cooker and was set on fire.
Firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
