Biker airlifted to hospital after road crash

THE North West Air Ambulance airlifted a man to hospital this morning after a road crash on Glazebrook Lane, Glazebrook near Warrington.
The collision involved a motor cycle and a car – and the biker was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital by air ambulance. It is understood he has serious injuries.
Glazebrook Lane was closed between its junctions with Bank Street, Glazebrook and the A57 Manchester Road although it was expected to re-open around 11am.
The crash occurred shortly before 8.30am.
